DuPont™ Weathermate™ Construction Tape* from DuPont is a durable sealing tape with excellent adhesion properties to help protect homes and building against moisture and air intrusion. Weathermate™ Construction Tape is pliable – ensuring a tight seal, even at extremely low temperatures – and its oriented polypropylene backing is formulated with a UV-treated film to help resist degradation from exposure to sunlight.
Weathermate™ Construction Tape is the recommended tape for sealing joints and seams of Weathermate™ housewraps and Styrofoam™ Brand insulated sheathings. It provides a permanent tight bond to sheathing board and housewrap surfaces to seal seams and enhance resistance to moisture and air infiltration.
